Position: Manager, Richmond Pro Shop Operations & Customer Experience
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week), weekends & evenings required
Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000+, enrolment in extended health benefits plan, plus potential for additional profit-sharing bonuses
About Cyclone Taylor Sports:

About the position:
The Manager, Pro Shop Operations & Customer Experience is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the CTS Richmond retail location. The successful applicant will be responsible for staffing, as well as working collaboratively with head office and the other retail locations on marketing strategies and inventory management. The Manager, Pro Shop Operations & Customer Experience, provides a memorable and exciting shopping experience for customers of all ages, and services a large customer base seeking regular skate sharpening.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- At minimum, completion of secondary school
- At least 2 years of experience managing in a retail environment, including supervising
- employees
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills:
- Knowledge and passion for ice hockey and/or lacrosse is an asset
- Experience and/or knowledge with skate sharpening is an asset
- Familiarity with point-of-sale system operations
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Email, Microsoft Word, and Excel)
- Ability to problem solve
- Excellent customer service
- Organized
Responsibilities:
- Scheduling staff for appropriate coverage
- Completes payroll administration and bank deposits
- Hiring and training staff (with support from head office)
- Determining appropriate store layout and configuration to improve the customer experience
- Stocking and merchandising of inventory
- Provides excellent customer service in person and over the phone, including identifying
- appropriate customer needs
- Prepares regular updates to head office
- Assists customers in hockey equipment fitting
- Supports head office with team sales initiatives
- Lead in skate sharpening for a large customer base
- Involved in community partnerships related to hockey tournaments
- Other duties as required
